Well that's kind of the point. There isn't a horde of white guys with british accents coming over in loads and loads. Running around committing all sorts of crimes and speaking in a different language. I think some racial profiling is going to occur. However that is what this problem is about, too many illegal Mexicans.
It is a drastic law in that way in some respects but I think its needed. Imagine if one day thousands and thousands of people started flocking to your neighborhood. They did not speak your language and started taking your jobs. At some point you have to say ok wait a second, we have to stop this before it gets out of control.
In America's case it is already out of control. We are just reaching for straws on ways to curb the flow. Just like the oil well that needed to be capped. They sat around trying to figure out how to cap it or who should cap it, meanwhile tons of oil spilt out everywhere. Then after it was already a very bad situation they had to try unconventional ways of capping it.
I don't want to say that illegal Mexican immigrants are a poison but, they kind of are to the country when they are out of control like this. They are illegal and committing crimes just to be let back into the streets. We should be able to defend ourselves against all foreign threats and this is a definite real problem for many, many Americans.
